New Car Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to all CDJR models and provides bumper-to-bumper protection. All vehicle components are protected against any issue with the workmanship or materials that went into creating your vehicle. If any system needs to be adjusted, repaired, or replaced, your dealer will complete this work free of charge.
This warranty applies for the first three years/36,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
Gas Powertrain Limited Warranty
The powertrain consists of your engine, transmission, and drivetrain. These systems work together to move your vehicle. The engine produces large amounts of chaotic energy. This energy is then focused by the transmission and transferred to the powertrain, which moves your wheels. Any issue with one of these systems automatically affects the performance of the other two.
The powertrain warranty applies for the first five years/60,000 miles.
Diesel Powertrain Limited Warranty
If you have a diesel engine, this warranty applies rather than the warranty above. It protects your diesel engine’s components, together with the transmission and drivetrain. This warranty has a duration of five years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Emissions Warranty
The emissions control system in your vehicle has the important job of reducing pollution caused by the combustion process. Combustion powers your vehicle but also produces a range of dangerous and toxic gases. These gases pass into the emissions control system, where they’re converted into harmless chemicals. This warranty protects the emissions system against any unforeseen issues.
The terms and duration of this warranty depend on your vehicle’s make and model.
Extended Warranties
Your original warranties will end, but this doesn’t mean your protection has to. CDJR vehicles have a range of extended warranty programs available that provide coverage for any repairs you may need. Each plan offers you a choice of term duration and your choice of deductible. All repair work needed under an extended warranty is performed by CDJR-trained technicians and using only OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement parts.
Two of the plans you can choose from are the Added Car Plus, which covers over 800 components across your vehicle’s systems, and the Maximum Care plan which covers over 5,000 components.
