The 2024 Grand Cherokee is similar to the previous model year in terms of standard features, towing, and capability. Some models have three rows and can seat seven passengers, while other models have two rows and can seat up to five passengers. The cargo volume for three-row models is 84.6 cubic feet behind the front row, while the two-row models have 70.8 cubic feet behind the first row.
Laredo
The base trim has a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and Quadra-Trac I full-time four-wheel drive. Standard exterior features include 17-inch Fine Silver fully painted aluminum wheels, automatic LED reflector headlamps, LED taillamps, and heated, power-adjusting, manual-folding mirrors with a blind spot indicator.
Limited

The Overland trim has a Quadra-Trac II active four-wheel-drive system and a Quadra-Lift air suspension system. Standard exterior features include 20-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with Black Noise painted pockets, LED fog lamps, and LED cornering lamps.
Summit
The Summit trim comes with standard features such as a Class IV hitch receiver, 20-inch Silver Lithos fully painted aluminum wheels, a black-painted roof, and door handle approach lamps. The interior is accented with Absolute Oak Wood and Liquid Chrome trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and four-zone automatic temperature control.
4XE
The 4XE trim introduces a 2.0-liter I-4 plug-in hybrid engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Quadra-Trac II active four-wheel drive. This trim has 18-inch fully painted aluminum wheels, LED taillamps, LED reflector headlamps, and LED fog lamps.
Trailhawk 4XE
This trim has features such as Selec-Speed Control, hill descent control, and 18-inch Granite Crystal fully painted aluminum wheels. Other standard features include Capri leather and suede seats, ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Overland 4XE
This trim has 20-inch Black Noise fully painted aluminum wheels, front lighting animation, and Nappa leather seats as standard features. The Overland 4XE trim also comes with a premium 19-speaker audio system and safety features such as traffic sign recognition.
Summit 4XE
The final trim has standard features such as perforated Nappa leather seating, quilted Nappa leather bolsters, and 12-way power-adjustable driver and front passenger seats. Other standard features include drowsy-driver detection and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
