Wayne County Lightfest

Mark your calendar for our six favorite picks. more 1. 2nd Annual Handmade Holiday Market Start your holiday shopping at this November 3 market, which will feature more than 55 vendors of handmade products. The event also includes raffles, concessions, and a coffee truck. The 2nd Annual Handmade Holiday Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Valentine Catholic Elementary School, located at 25875 Hope. 2. Veterans Day Ceremony Honor those who served with VFW Post 345 on November 11. This Veterans Day ceremony takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. next to Township Hall on Elsinore and Beech Daly Rds. 3. Kids Night In: Star Wars Bring kids of all ages to this fun event at the community center. Kids Night In will take place on November 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. In addition to showing Star Wars, instructors from Metro Michigan Martial Arts will lead fun games, martial arts drills, and contests. Themed costumes are welcome, and pizza and beverages will be served. The event costs $25 per child and $15 for each additional sibling. The community center is located at 12121 Hemingway. 4.
