Powertrain
Every 2026 Cherokee features a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain producing a combined 210 hp and 230 lbs. ft. of torque. An Electronic Variable Transmission (EVT313) manages power delivery, supported by a 400-volt, 1.08-kWh battery pack and regenerative braking. Standard Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 incorporates a single-speed transfer case and disconnecting rear axle to balance traction with efficiency.
