The 2025 Jeep Wrangler is a fantastic off-roader that anyone serious about exploring the outdoors is sure to have heard of. This year’s model has all the capability the Wrangler is known for, and it’s got lots of modern touches and a new paint color option to keep things fresh.

1. It Lets You Enjoy the Open Air
The Wrangler is designed to let you enjoy the open air. The top, doors, back windshield glass, and front windshield glass can all be removed in multiple configurations. There are soft and hard top options, including a flip top that lets you flip open some of the top, and you can remove all of it if desired. Which top options are available depends on the trim. The Sunrider manual is standard, allowing you to open the top without removing it entirely.
2. It Puts Adventure First
Adventure is the Wrangler’s main focus. Every single trim is Trail Rated, letting you know that each model has passed grueling tests in the outdoors. The Wrangler models have a lot of exclusive features, too. For example, the Wrangler is the only SUV that has solid front and rear axles. A class-exclusive V8 engine is available. It’s available with a factory-installed WARN winch that can take on up to 8,000 pounds.
Four-door models have a best-in-class approach angle available for tackling the steepest terrain. The vehicle can ford up to 34 inches of water, letting you get across creeks that get in your way. The Rubicon and Willys models are the most capable of all the trims, with the Rubicon sporting 33-inch all-terrain tires, an electronic sway bar, and rock rails.
3. It Has Power for Every Occasion
There are four engine options for all kinds of different power needs. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 producing 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It has a best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds if you’re driving a four-door Rubicon model with this engine. There’s a 2-liter turbo engine available, producing 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, which can also get you that best-in-class towing capacity.
Another available engine is an incredible 6.4-liter V8, producing a staggering best-in-class output of 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Finally, there’s a PHEV powertrain option with a two-liter I4 engine. This powertrain’s maximum output is 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
4. It Has a Modern Interior
Despite being mainly built for performance and adventure, there’s plenty of modern technology inside the Wrangler. The largest-in-class 12.3-inch infotainment display has an available Wi-Fi hotspot, voice-activated audio control, and many more useful features.
