The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is the world’s first electric pickup truck to feature a V6-powered generator onboard. This innovation paired with a powerful electric propulsion system gives the full-size pickup class-leading driving range and worksite capabilities.

Powerful Propulsion System

A 250 kW front and 238 kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs) propel the Ram 1500 Ramcharger, generating 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. The instant electric torque produced by EDMs gives the pickup truck responsive acceleration, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.

Outstanding Towing and Hauling Capacities

While the Ram 1500 is traditionally known for its reliable light-duty capabilities, the Ram 1500 Ramcharger’s towing and hauling prowess stretch well into the medium-duty range. When hitched to a conventional trailer, the electric pickup truck tows a best-in-class 14,000 lbs. If you need to transport construction materials, such as cement bags or planks of wood, the pickup truck offers a best-in-class 2,625-lb max payload capacity to get the job done.

Pentastar V6 Generator

On the Ram 1500 Ramcharger, the driving range doesn’t end when the battery bottoms out. The pickup truck features a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine that produces mechanical energy, which is then converted into electric energy by the integrated generator to recharge the battery. This enables the Ram 1500 Ramcharger to drive a class-shattering 690 miles. The generator can also supply electric power directly to the EDMs when extra muscle is needed.

Bidirectional Charging

The Ram 1500 Ramcharger’s battery can also be recharged with a Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 charger. Connecting the pickup truck to a Level 3 charger restores 50 miles of electric range in just 10 minutes, allowing you to continue your journey after a short break.

The pickup truck supports vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging. This means that you can use the battery and generator to directly charge any other Stellantis battery-electric vehicle or power your home and all its appliances in an emergency.

Convenient Onboard Power

With the Ram 1500 Ramcharger by your side, you can power up your tools and get to work even where the grid is unavailable. The truck offers a power panel built into the pickup box with 4.8 kilowatts of power and an available power panel with 7.2 kilowatts of power. Additionally, the available RamBox Cargo Management System adds a 115-volt, 400-watt auxiliary outlet to the driver’s side of the bed.
