Over the decades, the Jeep Wrangler has built and solidified its reputation as the ultimate off-road beast, making easy work of trails and terrains that other vehicles wouldn’t even consider. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler also comes with that otherworldly capability, all while being incredibly refined to ensure ultimate versatility. Here’s all you can expect from this beast that recently won the Best Family SUV for Off-Roading award.

Robust Engines

The Wrangler can be equipped with either one of four high-powered engines, depending on your preferences. The standard power plant is the legendary 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that releases 285 HP, enabling a 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds and a 5,000-pound towing capacity. The turbocharged 2.0-liter generates 270 HP and 295 pound-feet of torque, allowing the Wrangler to skip to 60 in only 6.5 seconds and also tow up to 5,000 pounds.

The third option is a plug-in hybrid setup that maximizes power output without sacrificing efficiency. It consists of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, which produce a whopping 375 HP and 470 pound-feet of torque combined, allowing it to reach 60 in 5 seconds, while getting up to 49 MPGe! V8 lovers will be impressed by the monstrous 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that unleashes a spine-tingling 470 HP, launching the Wrangler 392 to 60 in 4 seconds!

Next-Level Off-Roading Equipment

The Wrangler is simply built different. A robust body-on-frame build, heavy-duty 3rd-gen Dana 44 solid front and rear axles, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch all-terrain tires, steel skid plates for protecting its underbody, rock rails for protecting the door frames and rocker panels, steel bumpers, and up to 12.9 inches of ground clearance ensure that the Wrangler not only conquers most terrains with ease but also comes out of these adventures unscathed.

When you need to pull out the big guns for challenging trails, you can choose between 3 different advanced 4×4 systems, including one with a jaw-dropping 100:1 crawl ratio to allow you to maintain control and momentum at low speeds when crawling rocks, powering through deep mud, or climbing steep inclines. Front and rear locking differentials ensure traction is never an issue, while Fox shocks keep the ride balanced and comfortable at all times.

Spacious and Comfortable Cabin

Despite being synonymous with ruggedness, the Wrangler comes with a tastefully designed interior, ensuring a premium riding experience for your loved ones. It comes with available top-shelf amenities such as heated seats, a heated steering wheel, Nappa leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a navigation system with guides to more than 3,000 trails, on-board Wi-Fi, an Alpine sound system, and more!
