The R/T and R/T Plus models pair a 1.3L turbo engine with an electric system in a hybrid powertrain that pumps out 288 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. This system makes the Hornet the quickest CUV, with a 0-60 time of 5.6 seconds. Paddle shifters are optional with the standard gas engine and standard with the hybrid system, while performance Brembo brakes are standard on both Plus trim levels for enhanced high-speed handling.

Comfort and Convenience Features

Built for days on the road and adventures, the Hornet has a comfortable interior with seats for five and ample lounge spaces in both rows. Cloth and leatherette seating surfaces look sporty yet sophisticated, giving an upscale feel to the cabin. Manually adjustable front seats are standard on the base model, while power adjustments are standard on select trims.

Behind the rear seats, a cargo volume of 27 cubic feet provides plenty of room for outdoor gear, luggage, and other essentials. The rear seat has a 60/40 split-folding backrest and also features a convenient pass-thru that allows you to make room for long items, such as skis.
